A class set of still cameras and image editing software were purchased to allow students to capture the world around them in a moment, as they learn to become active observers of their community and environment. Students are learning how to use cameras and image-manipulating software, developing digital and technology skills. The materials purchased are being used throughout the school and will be of use for many years as 7th grade science classes study light and incorporate the lighting process of photography and ELA teachers have students document their peers performing literary characters in costume from a student’s point of view.
