The grant project was titled “Reading is Power”.The L.I.F.T. Foundation funded all of our students at Guion Middle School with resources with the use of clipboards for note-taking and writing, bookcases and shelving to hold new books, 170 non-fiction and fiction books, and age appropriate educational magazines for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We had a goal at our school to make literature available throughout our building and this grant made our goal a reality.020 Kelly Looper grant_Fotor

“I have been so inspired by the impact that books have had on our students that I decided to go back to school and get my masters in library science. This is my first year taking over the library. I am loving the switch! Thank you for giving us the means to start libraries in ALL our classrooms.”
