Students, parents and staff are extremely grateful for the donation to Harrison Elementary, as we are a small elementary school in a low socio-economic community with limited funding. We struggle to provide instructional materials and curriculum outside the core subjects for our underserved youth. We now will be able to purchase student workbooks that are focused on the 7 Habits of the Leader In Me program.

Through this program teachers can work together to teach and live the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and promote a positive culture in students and the community. Students will be engaged in authentic leadership opportunities both in and out of the classrooms. They are encouraged to use their interests and talents to solve school and community problems.

Empowering all students to become leaders through increased personal potential will. develop coping skills necessary to face many challenges that come their way on a daily basis. The L.I.F.T. TeacherGrant is an investment in our community and our students. Thank you for your generosity.
