The Robert and Susan Kozlowski L.I.F.T. Foundation is unique as a foundation in that ALL the money generated is used for the exclusive mission of providing educational opportunities to elementary through high school students, in an effort to create systemic change in education, so that every child is provided the opportunity to pursue their dreams. The L.I.F.T. Foundation does not have a paid Board of Directors. Susan Kozlowski, the sole trustee of the Foundation, does not draw a salary. Robert and Susan Kozlowski’s commitment to education and financial support, along with your belief in our mission and generous donations and sponsorships make these educational endeavors possible!

The core belief that Learning Inspires Freedom Tomorrow can only happen when students are encouraged and motivated in a rich educational environment that provides mentorship and strong academic content. The L.I.F.T. Scholarships, L.I.F.T. Teacher Grants, and educational programs help support this mission. It can only reach students, teachers, and schools in need with the support of your generous donations and sponsorships.

We have proven that adult and peer mentorship programs are successful in increasing academic success. Teachers have positive results, when provided with needed financial support, so their students can benefit from interactive educational opportunities.  We are demonstrating that students earning a L.I.F.T. Scholarship, which allows them to focus on academics, rather than financial burdens, and provides mentorship along their journey, are inspired to become… pharmacists, counselors, language pathologists, architects, nurses, artists, event planner, doctors, international political activists, teachers… gaining freedom tomorrow! The L.I.F.T. Scholars have changed the dismal college attainment statistics, with all L.I.F.T. Scholars graduating or on track to graduate and be workforce ready. Your commitment to donate to these worthy pursuits are appreciated by the L.I.F.T. Foundation and all who benefit from your contribution. Your donation will be used to support:

  • Tuition, books, fees, housing, and essentials for low-income, first in their family young people attending college on the L.I.F.T. Scholarship
  • L.I.F.T. Teacher Grants that provide funds for teachers to purchase materials for innovative, interactive programs in k-12 low-income community schools
  • Implementation and expansion of student-centered interactive peer mentorship programs
  • L.I.F.T. Summer Bridge to bridge the journey from high school to college
  • Mentorship of L.I.F.T. Scholars
