The grant I received from the L.I.F.T. Foundation brought my reading classroom alive. I was able to put all kinds of books into the hands of my students and give them a comfortable place to read in my classroom. The Foundation allowed me the opportunity to make my classroom an inviting place to read. I used some of the grant money to purchase pillows and beanbag chairs so that students would get excited about reading.
Bob and Susan have always had a passion for education and started the L.I.F.T. Foundation so that teachers could grab a hold of their passion and bring it into the classroom. Susan is amazing as the trustee of the foundation because she is willing to answer questions about the grant and help you through the process. She makes it a stress-free endeavor.
I enjoyed working with Susan this past year with my grant. I hope to work with her and the L.I.F.T. Foundation again in the future.
