ASSISTING SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE HARVEY and HURRICANE IRMA
We know over 1 million students have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. We are watching the path of Hurricane Irma and want to be ready to assist. If you are a teacher, administrator, or counselor at a school affected by HURRICANE HARVEY or HURRICANE IRMA the L.I.F.T. Foundation wants to help! Our scholars are college students who understand first hand resiliency and the power of one person LIFTing another in need. We are ready to raise funds for books, school supplies, classroom needs, computers, and anything else to make it possible for schools to resume.
Donate directly to those affected
Every donation you make is tax deductible. Every donation you make will go 100% to assist specific schools, students and teachers needing direct assistance after the hurricane disasters.
We have heard from school districts in need that are opening in September. Look for fundraising to begin!
We need to hear from you with your needs. We will get the word out to assist. The L.I.F.T. Foundation will have a MATCHING FUNDS DRIVE as well as individual donations. The L.I.F.T. Foundation, Susan Kozlowski, and other donors to the Foundation are ALREADY committed to MATCH FUNDS to assist students and teachers hit by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
As a long time educator I understand the value of having school be a safe place to bring some normalcy back when devastation strikes. I also know that for many students and families basic school supplies and school clothes can be a challenge even without a disaster. LET US HELP! We also understand the support teachers need to bring normalcy to a classroom. LET US HELP!
We will not be accepting any more requests. We have started fundraising in an attempt to meet the forms we have received.
